A physiotherapy graduate from Dalhousie University, Julie is a highly-regarded physiotherapist in the community and in Atlantic Canada. Julie is the founder of Advanced Health & Physiotherapy & has a passion for helping people understand and overcome their injuries. With a commitment to life-long learning, Julie continues to advance her knowledge and skills through participation in numerous postgraduate courses in advanced orthopaedic assessment and treatments. Julie completed her Clinical Masters’ in Advanced Orthopaedics & Manual Therapy at Western University in 2013. Her on-field sports experience includes working as the team therapist for the Moncton Mustangs’ Junior & Senior Football programs, Bernice MacNaughton Basketball & Football Programs and many local/national/ international sporting events such as 2010 World Junior Track & Field. Julie’s passions are not limited to physiotherapy. She can often be found training for triathlons, marathons, skiing, & yoga. Julie has also completed the 2013 IRONMAN at Mont-Tremblant, Que and the 2017 Boston Marathon.
Jordan Gillis

Jordan graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a degree in Kinesiology in 2012, and immediately attended Dalhousie University and obtained his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2014. Since graduating he has had experience in both the hospital and private practice settings. He has completed the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute’s Lumbo-Pelvic Complex certification program, and taken other professional courses in acupuncture and manual therapy. Jordan is currently volunteering with the Harrison Trimble High School basketball program. The Moncton-native is also a member of the CPA’s Orthopaedic Division and on the executive for the New Brunswick Orthopaedic Division. His interests outside of physiotherapy include music, drums, playing basketball and squash, and drag racing.
Madison Ames

Madison graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She continued by obtaining her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2022.
Throughout the course of her education, Madison wore several different hats which included being a 2nd grade teacher, a volunteer for the Heart for Life Program based out of Nova Scotia, a Certified Personal Trainer, as well as various positions in the hospital.
With a commitment to life-long learning, Madison continues to stay up to date with the latest research and best practices. She enjoys working with all ages and conditions, from kids to athletes to older adults.
Outside of Physiotherapy, you can often find Madison on a volleyball court or in a gym. She loves to travel to different countries and explore the outdoors.
Heather Wasson

Heather graduated from Crandall University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology. She obtained her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2018.
She has been part of the Advanced Health & Physiotherapy team in a variety of roles since 2011 and is excited to be now joining the team as a physiotherapist.
Heather is from Moncton and has been an active volunteer in the area. She has volunteered with the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 and FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014.
Outside of physiotherapy you can find Heather riding her motorcycle, at the gym, coaching or playing soccer and basketball.
Jen Williston

Jen joined our team in 2019 as a Physiotherapy Assistant. She has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2003 and is also a Biomechanics Specialist and Sport Conditioning Coach.
Jen has worked with athletes and teams from a variety of sports including hockey, soccer, basketball, ringette, figure skating, and Highland Dance. Additionally, Jen holds a Breast Cancer Recovery BOSU Specialist Certification , which helps those either recovering or going through treatment for Breast Cancer,as well as post surgery mobility.
Jen works with all types of physio patients in our gym ,as well as taking care of the Work Conditioning Program, a return to work program through WSNB.
Jen enjoys trail running, especially in Fundy National Park, has competed in several Spartan Races and fosters cats for Sasha’s Cat Rescue. She is a wife, mom and has two cats.

Natacha Carver

Born and raised in Moncton, NB. Natacha graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Kinesiology, at l’Université de Moncton in 2013. Following this, she graduated with honors, with her degree in Massage Therapy from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in Dieppe in 2015.
She has since completed a Kinesio-taping course, concussion course for RMTs, pregnancy massage course and First Aid & CPR certification. This allows her to treat clients affected by sports injuries, motor vehicles accidents, work injuries, pregnant women and acute or chronic pain or injuries.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing or coaching her kids at soccer, hiking, camping, reading, baking and spending time with her kids.

A graduate from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage (Fredericton Campus) with honours in 2011. Crystal has continued her education in active and passive myofascial release techniques, sport massage techniques, cranial sacral therapy, cupping massage, Kinesio Taping and in depth training with TMJ dysfunction or jaw pain. She values custom treatment plans for the individual health and wellness goals of her clients. Currently focused on the treatment of neck and jaw symptoms and wants to learn more about the treatment of concussion symptoms and other nervous system symptoms.
Crystal has had training in Kung Fu and now is beginning to learn Jiu Jitsu. She spends most of her free time reading.

Adam Burke

Adam graduated from Mount Allison in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science and in 2006 from McMaster with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Upon graduation, he was employed for 4 years by the Moncton Hospital in a variety of roles including: family practice, geriatric medicine, surgical and intensive care and out-patient hand therapy working primarily with post-surgical hand conditions. In 2009, Adam entered into private practice as a consultant with CBI Health P.C. providing hand rehabilitation services. In 2010, Adam opened Progressive Occupational Therapy & Hand Rehabilitation, operating in affiliation with Advanced Health & Physiotherapy. In 2011, Adam obtained his certification in hand therapy (CHT) from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. He specializes in the treatment of upper extremity injuries, ergonomic assessment, post-operative hand stiffness, wrist instabilities & custom splinting.
